Job summary

Western Digital Storage Technologies (Philippines) Corp. is seeking a Travel and Expense Accountant in Global Finance Operations to manage end-to-end T&E processing for the assigned region, ensuring compliance with Travel Policy and Concur system administration.

You will coordinate with Global Travel Team, Local Finance, IT & Concur support, and ERP teams to analyze spend data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support related audits and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Management Accounting or a related field.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience in the relevant field.
• Accounting experience in the Travel & Expense function is highly desirable.
• Industry exposure in the Shared Services or Global Business Services setup is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve expense reports in compliance with Global Travel Policy, analyze expense data to identify trends, risks, and cost saving opportunities
• Provide guidance and assistance to employees in Concur system navigation, expense processing, and questions related to WD's Travel policy.
• Resolve fallouts from data interface between Concur and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) in order to successfully process the payment to bank and employees.
• Prepare and submit Concur Accrual reports, perform Accounts Reconciliation for Concur related GL Accounts in accordance with WD's global standards.
• Provide support to Internal Audit, Payroll, Tax and other business units during the review and investigation of Concur related transactions.
• Compliance with Global Accounting OperationsAccounts Payable KPIs and process metrics and support implementation of automated audit tools such as Concur Intelligent Audit
• Conduct trainings sessions as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
