Outdesk. is seeking a highly analytical Traffic Management Planner to support robust TMP development for civil and infrastructure projects. You will bridge permanent road design with temporary traffic management, ensuring risk assessments and compliance across multiple projects.

The role focuses on hazard minimisation, safety for workers and the public, and smooth execution of traffic management operations across sites, with a remote work setup for Australia-linked projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in TMP design and traffic engineering.
• 1 year TMP design experience in New Zealand.
• Familiarity with ISO health & safety management systems.
• Ability to translate permanent road design into temporary TMPs.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Traffic Management Planning and TMP development.
• Risk assessment using 5x5 matrices and mitigation planning.
• Ensure compliance with ISO principles and safety standards.
• Produce CAD-based traffic routing plans and site diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and project teams.
