Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Traffic Analyst for a permanent work-from-home role with a night shift. The successful candidate will manage carrier coordination, shipment scheduling, and freight cost optimization, leveraging OTM, Epicor, and 4Kites.

A bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years in logistics are preferred, with strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate carriers and truck drivers based on availability, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Schedule and monitor shipments, delivery appointments, and transportation activities.
• Negotiate freight rates and secure competitive pricing from carriers.
• Track LTL, international, inbound, and outbound shipments.
• Monitor delivery exceptions and promptly communicate delays or issues to Customer Service.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Planning, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Review freight invoices, obtain carrier quotes, and prepare reports on premium freight charges.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
• Handle urgent customer requests and ensure timely shipment updates.
• Utilize logistics systems such as OTM, Epicor, and 4Kites to optimize transportation processes.
