Winning Assistants LLC is hiring a Healthcare Credentialing Specialist to verify physician licenses for US clients in a remote setting. You will research state boards, confirm license status, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and security standards.

The role requires at least 1 year in credentialing or related healthcare work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet a 1-hour turnaround during business hours. VPN access may be provided as needed.

Formación

• At least 1 year of experience in medical credentialing or related healthcare admin roles.
• Experience researching information through state medical boards, government websites, or regulatory databases.
• Familiarity with physician license status, expiration dates, restrictions, disciplinary actions, and prescribing eligibility.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and secure handling of sensitive information.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies across multiple sources.
• Ability to meet a 1-hour turnaround time during working hours.
• Reliable access to U.S. government and state regulatory websites.
• Willing to use VPN or secure-access tools when required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Manually verify physician licenses using official state medical board websites.
• Cross-reference physician data in national license index databases and regulatory databases.
• Confirm licenses are active, valid, unrestricted, and appropriate for the state of practice.
• Verify prescribing eligibility in states claimed.
• Review onboarding information for discrepancies, restrictions, or missing details.
• Document verification results in the company’s digital prescribing platform.
• Provide feedback within one hour during business hours.
• Escalate questionable credentials to the compliance team.
• Maintain audit trails of all verification activities.
• Protect physician and organizational data per HIPAA and confidentiality rules.
• Work independently in a remote asynchronous environment.
