Job summary

Staff X - Offshore Staffing is seeking a Structural Steel Detailer to independently produce Tekla Structures models and drawings for residential and commercial projects. You will manage RFIs, participate in client reviews, and own your workload in a production role from day one.

This full-time, work-from-home role requires strong Tekla skills, 3+ years in structural detailing, and clear English communication. Join a client-facing environment with global exposure while based in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Tekla Structures proficiency with at least 3 years of hands-on detailing experience.
• 3+ years of structural steel detailing covering complete packages.
• Strong written and spoken English for RFIs and client meetings.
• Proactive, self-managing work style with clear progress updates.
• Ability to translate engineering packages into Tekla models and drawings.
• Availability to work in the Philippine time zone with morning overlap.

Responsibilities

• Produce Tekla Structures models and drawings for residential and commercial steel projects from inputs to drawing issue.
• Generate, manage, and submit RFIs to clients or manager, following up as needed.
• Participate in client design review meetings via Teams and note required changes.
• Manage workload and communicate progress, dates, and blockers proactively.
• Mark up PDFs for drawing reviews and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate with manager on design tasks and progressively reduce oversight.
