Job summary

York Hamilton Corporate Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator (Granite, Marble & Stone Benchtop) to join our remote Australian team. Initial part-time (4 hours/day) with potential transition to full-time (40 hrs/week) based on performance.

You will prepare domestic quotes for granite, marble, and engineered stone benchtops, using an Excel-based estimating tool. You’ll process quotes via email, review job details, and maintain records while collaborating with the onshore estimating

Qualifications

2-3 years experience in granite, marble or engineered stone benchtops preferred.
Experience in estimating, quoting or pricing within benchtop/stone industry highly desirable.
Strong Excel skills and comfort with detailed spreadsheets.
High accuracy and attention to detail; able to translate specs into quotes.
Strong written English communication; comfortable communicating with clients via Gmail/Meet.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate domestic quotes for granite, marble, and engineered stone benchtops.
Use Excel-based estimating tool to calculate project costs.
Process incoming job requests and purchase orders via email.
Review job details and ensure all information is captured accurately.
Turn around quotes promptly and maintain high accuracy for 60-70 regular clients.
Support onshore estimating team and free up capacity for commercial projects.
Communicate with clients about quote details via Gmail; participate in Google Meet meetings.
