Job summary

CommandLink is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own the security product surface end to end, including API, UI, and architecture. You will manage data contracts, telemetry ingestion, and cross-functional collaboration across security and platform teams.

The role emphasizes full-stack work with a strong security-domain focus, mentoring peers and driving durable architectural decisions in ambiguous spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume, latency-sensitive infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security telemetry and cloud audit trails.
• Ability to own architectural decisions in cross-functional spaces.
• Familiarity with contract-driven development using protobuf.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and long-term direction of the security product's API and UI.
• Define data contracts between the product and alert/ingestion services; integrate telemetry from diverse sources.
• Surface enriched entities, alerts, and topology for analyst investigations; drive durable architectural outcomes.
• Mentor engineers and uphold production-grade standards across the security product team.
