Job summary

Full Scale is a remote-first tech company based in the Philippines, hiring a Senior/Staff Platform Security Engineer to own security across cloud infrastructure, AKS, production access, vulnerability management, and security tooling. You will work closely with Engineering, IT, Quality, Product, and Compliance teams, reporting to the CTO.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud/platform security with DevOps, IaC, and CI/CD security.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud security, platform security, or related roles.
• Hands-on Azure and Kubernetes security experience.
• Strong IAM, access control, and privilege management knowledge.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD security practices.
• Excellent communication and independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve security across Azure AKS, SQL, networking, and production environments.
• Harden Kubernetes workloads, identities, and network controls.
• Design least-privilege and privileged access models (RBAC, PIM, just-in-time access).
• Lead vulnerability management: triage, prioritization, remediation, reporting.
• Configure and optimize security tooling to reduce noise and improve detection.
• Implement security guardrails across CI/CD and IaC (SAST, SCA, secrets scanning).
• Collaborate with engineers to translate findings into actionable fixes.
• Support security reviews, threat modeling, incident response, and audits.
