Job summary

Command|Link is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own the security product surface end to end: API, UI, architecture, and data contracts. This is a full-stack role with a security-domain emphasis, requiring clear reasoning across diverse data sources and turning them into actionable topology for analysts.

You will drive architectural decisions in ambiguous, cross-functional spaces, mentor engineers, and deliver durable, scalable outcomes in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume, latency-sensitive infrastructure such as distributed messaging and indexing.
• Knowledge of contract-driven development across teams using schema definitions like protobuf.
• Broad understanding of security telemetry signals and how they relate.
• Strong cloud environment knowledge and ability to derive topology from data.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and long-term direction of the security product's API and UI.
• Define and enforce data contracts between the product and related services.
• Integrate security telemetry into a unified model across sources.
• Make cloud audit trails a first-class part of the product.
• Surface enriched entities, alerts, and topology for analysts.
• Drive architectural decisions in cross-functional spaces and ensure durable outcomes.
• Set technical patterns and standards for the team.
