Emapta Philippines is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to guide a world-class engineering team and deliver scalable Rails solutions. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and ensure robust testing practices across REST APIs and frontend integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• 3-5 years as a Software Engineer with progressive responsibilities.
• 2+ years in senior engineering/technical leadership.
• 3+ years Rails production experience.
• 3+ years frontend with HTML/CSS/JS/TS/React.
• Strong REST APIs, SQL, and backend development.
• Experience with RSpec, Jest, and TDD.
• Git and GitHub proficiency for collaboration.
• Experience with Sidekiq, Bootstrap, PostgreSQL.
• Leads Agile ceremonies and engineering delivery.
• Excellent communication; able to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers through code reviews and growth.
• Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
• Design scalable features and manage technical debt.
• Build roadmap-driven features with Ruby and patterns.
• Ensure testing standards and code quality.
