Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Mentor for a Software Architect track based in Spain. This is a part-time, remote opportunity for an experienced software architecture professional who enjoys teaching and mentoring technology talent.

You will support learners online, explaining architecture concepts, hosting weekly live sessions, and helping students apply principles to real-world systems.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional industry experience in software engineering, architecture, or a closely related technology field.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD), including Pytest, scalable testing strategies, and structured test-suite design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support to learners through an online community forum.
• Answer questions related to course content, helping students overcome technical blockers and progress through their learning journey.
• Facilitate learning by explaining complex software architecture and engineering concepts in a clear, practical, and accessible way.
• Host one live virtual session each week to provide real-time technical support, answer questions, and engage with students.
• Redirect learners to the appropriate support channels and elevate issues to the Mentor Operations team when necessary.
• Build a positive, supportive learning environment by establishing trust and meaningful connections with students.
• Share practical industry knowledge and encourage learners to apply architectural principles to real-world scenarios.
