Job summary

Mercor is seeking a remote Spanish Tutor to deliver one-on-one sessions with learners, adapting content to various proficiency levels and topics.

You will lead engaging conversations, follow structured lessons, and ensure sessions stay on topic while maintaining learner engagement throughout the contract period.

Qualifications

• Must-have fluent Spanish speakers with strong verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3+ years of Spanish teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience teaching native English speakers at different proficiency levels.
• Ability to adapt lesson structure and communication style to individual learners.
• Reliable availability and a strong record of punctuality.
• Comfort participating in recorded online sessions.

• Compensation: $50–$60/hour

• Duration: Approximately three weeks
• Commitment: Approximately seven hours/week
