Job summary

Getwingapp is seeking a Social Media & Content Marketing Assistant to join our remote team. This role focuses on setting up and optimizing social profiles, drafting engaging content, and supporting the content strategy across platforms.

You will create graphics, edit short-form videos, repurpose content, and maintain content calendars and marketing trackers, all while collaborating with a supportive team to drive educational and engaging material for audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and optimizing social media profiles.
• Experience writing social media content and blog articles.
• Experience creating graphics and simple marketing visuals.
• Experience editing short-form videos for social media.
• Familiarity with Reddit, online forums, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
• Strong organizational skills with experience maintaining content calendars and marketing trackers.
• Experience with educational content creation, student engagement, or educational blog writing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up, optimize, and maintain social media profiles across multiple platforms
• Update and complete online business directories
• Maintain trackers for platform inventory, login/access credentials, profile completion status, content calendars, posting schedules, and next action items
• Draft engaging social media content
• Write or assist with blog articles and long-form content
• Create graphics and simple marketing visuals
• Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and assist with long-form video editing when applicable
• Repurpose existing website content, FAQs, and notes into social media content
• Schedule and publish posts across multiple platforms
• Monitor comments, messages, and engagement
• Participate appropriately in Reddit, online forums, and relevant communities
• Help organize and execute the overall content strategy
