Job summary

GrowthAssistant is seeking a seasoned Short-Form Video Editor to repurpose long-form product content into 3–6 polished vertical clips weekly for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. You will own the cut, hook, arc, and design for native platform UI while maintaining brand consistency and clarity.

Collaborate with the team across time zones, deliver captions and lower thirds, source assets, and help build scalable editing templates and workflows for a fast-growing B2B SaaS brand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on video editing with short-form work.
• Portfolio showing short-form repurposing from long-form and UI on screen.
• Understanding of TikTok, Reels and Shorts UI with safe zones for captions.
• Ability to design cuts around hooks and arcs from source material.
• Excellent subtitle spelling of product and feature names.

Responsibilities

• Create 3–6 short-form clips per week from long-form videos.
• Design cuts for native platform UI with safe zones and captions.
• Source additional screen recordings or grabs when needed.
• Add captions, lower thirds, graphics, music, and branding.
• Collaborate asynchronously and during US time overlap; manage project files.
