Job summary

Pavago is seeking a Shopify Web Developer / Store Builder to create, customize, and maintain premium Shopify storefronts for B2B clients while leading the complete redesign of the company’s primary website.

This hands-on role requires strong Shopify Liquid, front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and a keen eye for eCommerce UX to deliver fast, conversion-focused stores in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Shopify development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language.
• Advanced front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience building custom Shopify themes or extensive theme customization.
• Proven experience leading complete website redesigns or rebranding projects.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce UX, CRO, and responsive design principles.
• Experience managing product catalogs, collections, inventory, and store configurations.
• Portfolio showcasing modern, high-quality Shopify storefronts.
• Experience working with Slack, Google Workspace, and asynchronous communication.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build custom Shopify storefronts from scratch using client branding and design assets.
• Customize Shopify themes to create premium, conversion-focused online stores.
• Configure product catalogs, collections, inventory, and store settings.
• Ensure storefronts are responsive, fast-loading, and optimized for mobile devices.
• Lead the complete redesign and rebrand of the company's primary Shopify website.
• Improve user experience, site navigation, and overall conversion performance.
• Implement modern design standards while maintaining brand consistency.
• Optimize website speed, usability, and accessibility across all devices.
• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement advanced store functionality through custom development where needed.
• Configure access controls, gated collections, gift codes, and purchase restrictions.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into fully functional Shopify stores.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver projects within agreed timelines.
• Manage multiple Shopify builds simultaneously while maintaining high quality.
• Communicate project progress and blockers through Slack and other tools.
