Uncover is seeking a Freelance Shopify Developer to support a global electronics brand on Shopify. The store uses an established design system and theme, so you publish content, maintain pages, fix technical SEO issues, and occasionally extend functionality with custom apps or scripts—accurate, on schedule, and self‑driven.

You will publish 4–5 blog posts weekly, build/update collection pages across regional storefronts, and handle recurring SEO tasks (redirects, canonical tags, structured

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
• A genuine Shopify specialist—not a generalist across multiple platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to build or modify Shopify apps and scripts.
• Strong written and spoken English with daily written contact with the team.
• Available for short daily check‑ins and same‑day replies during working hours.
• Highly organized with a fixed weekly publishing cadence.

Responsibilities

• Publishing 4–5 blog posts per week exactly to spec (structure, images, alt text, internal links, FAQ blocks, tables).
• Building and updating collection and landing pages across regional storefronts.
• Working through recurring technical SEO tasks (broken links, redirects, canonical tags, structured data, sitemap, hreflang).
• Liquid, JSON template, and metafield work inside the existing theme; extend functionality via apps or scripts when needed.
• Self‑QA on everything before going live and daily progress updates.
