Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Marketing Executive to own the Shopify store backend, including theme configuration, architecture, and product data management. You will design layouts, manage apps, and ensure SEO readiness, while maintaining technical health and compliance across the site.

You will work with Liquid, implement changes, and monitor performance using GA4 and Search Console, driving organic visibility and scalable ecommerce success.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on Shopify experience at a backend level.
• Strong understanding of Shopify requirements, checkout, payments, accessibility and policies.
• Strong understanding of technical, on-page and structural SEO fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Search Console and standard SEO tools.
• Comfortable with Shopify Liquid, configuring themes and managing apps/integrations.
• Excellent written English and grammar.
• Meticulous attention to product data, site structure and configurations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed with remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Shopify store backend setup including theme config and architecture.
• Manage product setup end-to-end: variants, metafields, tagging and templates.
• Design and maintain store layout, navigation and site architecture for usability and SEO.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot Shopify apps and integrations.
• Work with Shopify Liquid to implement technical changes without breaking functionality.
• Monitor technical health: page speed, mobile performance, errors, redirects, broken links.
• Ensure configurations meet platform requirements and policies including accessibility.
• Own on-page SEO: metadata, internal linking, URL structures and site architecture.
• Conduct keyword research and apply SEO insights to structure.
• Monitor organic performance using GA4 and Google Search Console.
• Provide SEO guidance for new products, collections and campaigns.
• Collaborate with ecommerce team to follow SEO best practices.
• Conduct technical audits and support migrations and compliance reviews.
