Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on U.S. tax experience with real estate exposure.
• Strong expertise in entity tax returns (S Corps, partnerships) including multi-entity structures.
• Proficiency with UltraTax; QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Xero familiarity.
• Ability to work on US Eastern Time (10:00–19:00 ET) with lunch break.
• CPA preferred; non-CPAs with strong U.S. tax experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations with real estate involvement.
• Identify missing information, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines within budgets.
• Communicate open items with senior staff and clients to keep work moving.
• Maintain accuracy by avoiding duplicate requests and documenting workpapers.
• Support additional compliance needs (write-ups, 1099s, payroll, sales tax) using QuickBooks, Xero, and UltraTax.
• Participate in client meetings and explain complex tax topics clearly to fit client situations.
