Job summary

Booth is seeking a senior fund accountant to join our distributed team. You will review property and fund-level financials, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while coordinating with third-party managers and internal teams.

This role requires US GAAP expertise, advanced Excel, and the ability to work US Pacific Time hours remotely from international locations, including the Philippines. You will grow into more complex fund accounting responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in property or fund accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and related guidance.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Experience with month-end close, consolidated reporting, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Review operating and development property financials for accuracy and consistency with policies.
• Coordinate with third-party accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Map property-level results into consolidated fund financials and ensure correct roll-up.
• Review monthly construction financials and map into the general ledger.
• Prepare and maintain fund-level accounting records and schedules.
• Apply US GAAP principles to fund-level and entity-level activities; escalate issues.
• Perform month-end close for fund-level entities and review deliverables.
• Independently resolve routine fund and property accounting matters.
• Support external audits and tax return preparation as needed.
