Job summary

Booth is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support a growing finance team from the Philippines (Remote) with PST hours. You will work closely with a Senior Accountant, handling transactional accounting and assisting with month-end and quarter-end close activities to ensure accurate reporting.

The role is ideal for someone early in their career who is accurate, organized, and eager to grow within a finance function while integrating into the client’s daily workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable in line with policy, including invoice coding and payment preparation.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes for accurate reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and month-end and quarter-end schedules (PP&E, prepaids, AR).
• Assist Senior Accountant with ad-hoc tasks and maintain organized, audit-ready records.
• Handle payment processing.
