Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a Licensed Attorney to join as a Senior Paralegal supporting a U.S.-based law firm. You will deliver high-impact paralegal support, in-depth legal research, document drafting, and case management to U.S. attorneys and managing partners.

The role requires a J.D. or equivalent, an active law license, and 2–3 years of senior paralegal experience. This is a remote, work-from-home position based in the Philippines with EST schedule alignment.

Qualifications

J.D. or LL.B. from an accredited law school.
Active, valid Law License/Bar Admission in home jurisdiction.
2–3 years of active legal practice or senior-level paralegal experience.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Familiarity with U.S. Legal Tech and MS Office 365.

Responsibilities

Perform in-depth legal research on U.S. statutes, case law and regulations using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or Fastcase.
Draft complex legal documents (pleadings, motions, subpoenas, briefs, NDAs, contracts).
Prepare legal memos, case summaries, deposition summaries, and trial exhibits.
Manage case files from intake to resolution using practice management software.
Monitor dockets, deadlines, and litigation calendars.
Review discovery documents, medical records, and financial disclosures.
Draft professional correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
Assist with client intake, fact-gathering, and preliminary case assessments.
Provide high-level administrative support, including legal billing and e-filing.
