Job summary

Hunt St is seeking a highly proactive General Manager / Senior Operations Manager (Ecomm) based in the Philippines. You will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor, coordinating cross-border logistics, inventory, and AI-driven automation while aligning with AU business hours.

You’ll manage external logistics partners, forecast demand, and optimize e‑commerce operations end‑to‑end. Strong leadership, remote work experience, and a passion for scaling with AI are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in operations management, logistics, or inventory management with international exposure.
• Background spanning multiple senior generalist roles and proven remote work for international employers.
• Experience across D2C and B2B, with Ecomm familiarity; sales exposure in wholesale deals.
• Direct experience managing international stock, freight, and supply timelines from origin to delivery.
• Ability to forecast stock, align manufacture times with arrivals, and adapt to long lead times.

Responsibilities

• Oversee external logistics networks, ensuring day-to-day execution across shipping and fulfilment.
• Lead meetings with 3PLs, warehouses, freight forwarders, and factories.
• Forecast demand and flag stock risks based on sales trends.
• Liaise with factories and suppliers; proactively chase production and shipments.
• Track shipments and troubleshoot issues; escalate real-time risks.
• Apply knowledge of import/export and customs processes.
