Job summary

Hunt St is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper based in the Philippines to support an Australian client. You will handle end-to-end bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, BAS, and project-level profitability while working remotely as an independent contractor.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of Australian bookkeeping experience, strong Xero skills, and the ability to work autonomously with high attention to detail and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' bookkeeping experience, ideally supporting an Australian business.
• Strong practical experience using Xero and end-to-end bookkeeping.
• Ability to manage bookkeeping independently from day one.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero with minimal supervision.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and maintain GL records.
• Prepare job-level P&L and profitability reporting and track costs.
• Manage AP/AR, payroll, BAS lodgement, and subcontractor payments.
• Provide timely financial information to the client and resolve discrepancies.
