Job summary

DCX PH Inc. seeks a Home-Based Senior Accountant to support financial reporting for a U.S.-based client in remediation and waste management services. You will manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, cash accounting, and tax compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, US GAAP knowledge, and the ability to work U.S. business hours from the Philippines overnight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with GL, month-end close, reconciliations, and tax compliance.
• CPA license or CPA candidate status preferred.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries and general ledger transactions.
• Record and allocate expenses per policy.
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Handle sales and state/local tax filings and remittances.
• Assist in annual financial audits and bank examinations.
