Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Accountant for Australian accounting needs, to work remotely from the Philippines as an independent contractor. The role focuses on multi-client support, e-commerce and retail accounting, and collaboration with AU-based teams during AU business hours.

The successful candidate will bring CPA-qualified senior accounting experience, expertise with Xero and payroll tooling, and a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to deliver accurate financials and timely

Qualifications

• CPA-qualified with proven senior accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting practices, tax, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Xero and payroll tools for AU payroll.
• Experience with inventory systems and e-commerce finance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-entity reconciliations across varied accounting systems.
• Oversee AP batch payments and supplier payment setups.
• Support payroll operations including wages and leave reconciliations.
• Provide end-to-end general accounting support per client needs.
• Maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
