Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Info Security or equivalent experience.
• Google Cloud Security Engineer certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.
• Familiarity with operating systems and databases.
• Experience using security tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of patch management, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
• Understanding of secure coding, ethical hacking, and threat modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate incidents.
• Install and use security software like firewalls and encryption.
• Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and assessments.
• Plan, implement, and upgrade security controls.
• Develop and document security policies and procedures.
• Conduct internal and external security audits.
• Manage IDS/IPS and other security systems.
• Analyze breaches to identify root causes.
• Coordinate with departments to improve security.
• Stay updated on attacker methods to anticipate breaches.
• Provide technical advice on secure development and maintenance.
