Confidential U.S.-based Insurance Agency is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to manage revenue forecasting, commission tracking, and carrier contracting for a growing U.S.-based insurance agency. This role turns business and financial data into clear, actionable information to help agency leaders make informed decisions.

You will track performance, identify risks, reconcile commission discrepancies, and provide production and commission data to the bookkeeper and CPA.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis, revenue operations, FP&A support, commissions, or contracting.
• Ability to build forecasts and projections, not only report historical results.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and confidence working across multiple data sources.
• Ability to review contracts and carrier agreements.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to explain what the numbers mean and what action is needed.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work US Pacific business hours consistently.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain first-year and recurring revenue forecasts by product line.
• Track performance against goals and identify risks, trends, and areas requiring action.
• Analyze product mix, revenue per application, and overall book health.
• Reconcile commission statements, identify discrepancies, and follow up on missing payments.
• Maintain a commission grid showing expected versus received payments.
• Process enrollment reports and manage new-business and renewal contracting with carriers.
• Provide accurate production and commission data to the agency’s bookkeeper and CPA.
