We are looking for a Business Operations Analyst to manage revenue forecasting, commission tracking, and carrier contracting for a growing U.S.-based insurance agency.
This role turns business and financial data into clear, actionable information. You will track performance, identify risks, resolve commission discrepancies, and give agency leaders the visibility they need to make informed decisions.
Build and maintain first-year and recurring revenue forecasts by product line.
Track performance against goals and identify risks, trends, and areas requiring action.
Analyze product mix, revenue per application, and overall book health.
Reconcile commission statements, identify discrepancies, and follow up on missing payments.
Maintain a commission grid showing expected versus received payments.
Process enrollment reports and manage new-business and renewal contracting with carriers.
Provide accurate production and commission data to the agency’s bookkeeper and CPA.
Experience in financial analysis, revenue operations, business analysis, FP&A support, commissions, or contracting.
Ability to build forecasts and projections, not only report historical results.
Advanced spreadsheet skills and confidence working across multiple data sources.
Ability to review contracts and carrier agreements.
Strong business judgment and the ability to explain what the numbers mean and what action is needed.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to work US Pacific business hours consistently.
