Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking an Analyst, Retail Expansion & Property based in the Philippines or Malaysia to build financial models, analyse performance, and track property deals across Southeast Asia. You will support a property platform, gather and validate data, and coordinate with the client’s teams.

The role requires strong Excel-based modelling, FP&A experience, and English proficiency. You will work remotely with colleagues across time zones and contribute to store development and site

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in FP&A, property analysis, retail analytics, or Big 4/consulting analyst role
• Advanced Excel with modelling, scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Experience building, maintaining, and reviewing financial models with clear explanations
• Strong data analysis: cleaning, reconciling, combining data from multiple sources
• Understanding of retail or property economics: sales per m2, rent, gross profit, etc.
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills; manage multiple projects
• Ability to work independently and communicate issues proactively
• Comfortable collaborating remotely across time zones

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for retail networks (sales forecasts, P&L, CAPEX, ROI)
• Gather, clean, reconcile, and validate client data
• Analyse store performance and expansion decisions
• Maintain models, deal trackers, templates, schedules for the property platform
• Upload data, test calculations, coordinate fixes with the platform developer
• Update forecasts as stores begin trading
• Research shopping centres, landlords, rental terms and franchises
• Compare landlord offers and terms; capture incentives and fit-out costs
• Prepare briefs, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes
• Support store development with drawings, quotes, budgets, schedules
• Track milestones, budgets, procurement timelines, and long-lead items
• Support feasibility models and project reporting when quieter
• Maintain templates, documentation, and trackers across projects
• Communicate with stakeholders and flag risks early
