Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking an Analyst, Retail Expansion & Property to support Southeast Asia retail consulting and property development. You will build financial models, analyse store performance, research locations, and track property deals across SEA.

The role requires strong Excel skills, data handling, and ability to manage multiple workstreams independently while collaborating remotely with stakeholders across time zones.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in FP&A, property analysis, retail analytics, or related analyst roles.
• Advanced Excel incl. modelling, scenario analysis, auditing, and error checking.
• Experience building, maintaining, and explaining financial models.
• Strong data analysis: cleaning, reconciling, combining data from multiple sources.
• Excellent written and spoken English, client-ready reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for store networks, including sales forecasts, P&L, CAPEX, and ROI.
• Gather, clean, reconcile, and validate sales, cost, labour, freight, property data.
• Analyse store performance and assumptions to inform locations and expansion plans.
• Maintain models, deal trackers, templates, schedules for the property platform.
• Upload data, test calculations, identify issues, coordinate fixes with developers.
• Update forecasts with actuals as locations commence trading.
• Research centres, landlords, rental terms, vacancies, potential partners across SEA.
• Prepare briefs, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes for clients and internal use.
• Support store development with drawings, quotes, fit-out costs, schedules.
• Track milestones, budgets, procurement timelines, and late items to flag risks.
• Support feasibility models, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and project reporting when quieter.
• Maintain consistent templates and documentation across projects.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and follow up on inputs.
