Job summary

Boomering is seeking a detail-oriented Residential Estimator to support pre-construction in Australian markets. You will input and verify data, create preliminary plans, and hand off to onshore Project Managers.

Growth opportunities include autonomous end-to-end estimations. Applicants should have 2–3 years of Australian residential estimating experience, BuildXact proficiency, and strong knowledge of NCC/Queensland standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of residential construction estimating experience in the Australian market.
• Proficient with BuildXact and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes (NCC) and Queensland standards.
• Able to read and scale architectural/structural plans.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Review designs and generate preliminary plans and takeoffs.
• Input quantities, measurements, and data into BuildXact and Excel tracking sheets.
• Assist clients and project managers with colour selections and finish schedules.
• Generate building specifications aligned with project scopes.
• Ensure all documentation complies with NCC and Queensland standards.
• Manage supplier RFQs and analyse quotes for best value.
• Standardize pre-construction documents for onshore Project Managers.
• Flag missing documentation or plan discrepancies early in the process.
• Gradually take ownership of independent workflows as confidence grows.
