Job summary

BruntWork is seeking an experienced Real Estate Accountant to independently manage financial operations across 10–11 LLCs and multiple development projects. The role focuses on intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and strategic financial insights, with strong real estate or construction experience preferred.

You will maintain records, track intercompany balances, and prepare management reports while collaborating with Jesse and the Office Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple entities with intercompany transactions.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Xero for real estate accounting.
• Prior work in real estate development, construction, or property investments preferred.
• High accuracy and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting across 10–11 LLCs and multiple projects.
• Maintain accurate financial records for each entity.
• Record and review contractor payments, materials, acquisitions, and project transactions.
• Ensure proper categorization and allocation to entities/projects.
• Track intercompany loans and transfers between LLCs and projects.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and accounts across all entities.
• Prepare financial reports and management summaries.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Suggest improvements to strengthen controls and workflows.
• Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day accounting matters.
• Collaborate with Jesse and the Office Manager on reporting needs.
