Job summary

HedgeServ is recruiting a Python Developer to design, build, and maintain applications for internal and external clients. You will work with developers, QA, and operations to ensure a reliable development and deployment pipeline.

You should have strong Python experience, familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases, and distributed systems, plus a track record in agile teams and CI/CD practices. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Python and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality Python code with a focus on testing and delivery.
• Collaborate with QA and business analysts to create automated tests and improve tooling.
• Partner with operations to ensure production reliability and performance.
• Participate in design discussions for platform evolution and cross-team initiatives.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly with a focus on reliability and scalability.
