Job summary

Grundfos GmbH seeks a hands-on Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and optimize pump systems in field and workshop settings, partnering with Service Sales Engineers to grow the Grundfos Service business.

You will work remotely with a preference for US-based candidates, bringing 3–5 years of hands-on repair experience, strong troubleshooting, and proficient use of MS Office. Travel, collaboration, and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in pump repair, mechanical/electrical systems troubleshooting, or related industrial service.
• Proficiency with computer systems for work orders, documentation, and basic MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, recondition, and adjust pumps and pump-related equipment in the field and workshop, ensuring documentation of all work performed.
• Provide technical support, advice, and training to customers on existing Grundfos products and their applications.
• Create repair estimates, monitor job expenses vs. estimates, and flag cost overruns to supervisors before job completion.
• Deliver qualified service sales leads to Service Sales Engineers and support overall Service business growth.
• Audit Authorized Service Partners and analyze warranty and out-of-warranty product return data.
• Train and mentor fellow team members while maintaining a safe, organized environment.
