Job summary

Tantalus Floors is looking for a Remote Project Coordinator based in the Philippines to provide reliable back-office support and help keep projects, information, and day-to-day operations organized. This role will work closely with the leadership team to coordinate tasks, track follow-ups, organize project information, support planning, and help ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

The position is part-time (roughly 10–20 hours per week, up to 25) with compensation of 7–10 USD/hour,

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience in construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, project coordination, or construction administration.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

What You'll Do

Initial Responsibilities

• Complete quantity takeoffs from plans and project information
• Assist with preparing project estimates
• Help prepare and organize invoices
• Assist with project scheduling and maintaining schedule information
• Organize project documents, measurements, estimates, and related information
• Review project details and make sure required information is complete and organized
• Support the development and implementation of estimating, takeoff, invoicing, and scheduling systems
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation
• Follow established processes and help identify opportunities to improve them
• Provide reliable administrative and project support to the owner

What We're Looking For

• 2-3+ years of experience with construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, project coordination, or construction administration
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project information
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, software, and digital tools
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage assigned tasks remotely
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes
• Reliable and responsive when working with a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with residential construction or remodeling
• Experience preparing flooring, finish, or material takeoffs
• Experience with estimating or construction management software
• Experience with invoicing and project scheduling
• Experience working with Canadian, U.S., or other North American construction companies

Schedule & Compensation
