Job summary

Mitratech is seeking a Principal Engineer to drive technical direction for a significant product domain and collaborate with cross-country teams to deliver high-impact solutions. You will shape architectural strategy and advance agentic AI tooling in production workflows.

You will mentor engineers, author RFCs, review AI-generated code, and ensure scalable, reliable software across .NET/C#, Python, Java, Go, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in .NET/C# with backend services.
• Experience designing and integrating AI/ML features and LLM services.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical direction for major product domains.
• Lead architectural debt remediation and improve system reliability.
• Guide multi-quarter roadmap feasibility with Product/Engineering leadership.
• Elevate engineering craft through RFCs and mentorship across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-country teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
