Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a Practice Bookkeeper to own bookkeeping workflows supporting qualified accountants in Australia. This hands-on role requires accuracy and efficiency, with autonomy to manage workload and ensure client satisfaction.

You will work with MYOB AE, AO, or XPM within a remote team and established processes. The position offers remote collaboration across international teams, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a focus on quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with an Australian accounting firm or client base.
• Ability to produce accurate work with minimal corrections.
• Ability to work independently while communicating with remote supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Process bookkeeping tasks for Australian clients following firm procedures.
• Maintain accurate financial records and organized documentation.
• Prepare work for review by senior accountants in Australia.
• Manage high volumes of work during peak periods.
• Time communications to align with Australian business hours.
• Work within MYOB AE/AO/XPM to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with Australian teammates via check-ins and progress updates.
• Adhere to security protocols for accessing client information.
