Job summary

Remote Raven is seeking a fully remote Permitting Coordinator to manage the complete permit lifecycle for a US roofing group. You will liaise with municipalities, homeowners, and contractors, ensuring projects meet local, county, and state requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

You will own tracking, renewals, inspections, and close-out activities, coordinating with project teams and the licensing group. Strong English and proactive communication are essential for timely approvals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in permit coordination or regulatory compliance, where you personally prepared and submitted applications to a government authority.
• Familiarity with local and state permitting systems, zoning regulations, and building codes.
• Proven ability to manage many open items and deadlines without losing track of the quiet ones.
• You build and maintain your own tracking spreadsheets with filters and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, apply for, and expedite permit applications for roofing projects across all brands.
• Identify correct permitting authorities for each project address.
• Assemble complete application packets with documentation and insurance where required.
• Submit applications through portals, email, or phone/fax channels.
• Follow up to move stalled applications forward and resolve corrections.
