Job summary

MicroSourcing, a leading offshore managed services provider in the Philippines, is seeking an Ecommerce Operations Specialist (Shopify) to manage Shopify merchandising, product launches and promotions from a remote night-shift role. The role focuses on ensuring site accuracy, optimized PDPs, and timely campaigns.

You’ll collaborate with ecommerce and development teams, coordinate with marketing, and own ongoing site quality assurance to deliver a seamless online shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in ecommerce, ecommerce merchandising or digital operations.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality ecommerce experiences.
• Highly organized and process-driven, able to manage recurring tasks on time.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with ecommerce, marketing and development teams.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced ecommerce environment with changing priorities.
• Strong QA and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to own tasks and ensure updates are completed accurately.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily and weekly site merchandising updates in Shopify and tools such as Searchspring and Rebuy.
• Maintain collection sorting, product placement and category organization for consistency.
• Support product launches and ensure products are ready for go-live.
• Perform weekly homepage updates, including banners and featured collections.
• Implement campaign launches and align across site pages.
• Conduct QA of site updates across desktop and mobile.
• Set up promotions in Shopify, including discounts and codes.
• QA promotional logic and troubleshoot issues for accurate execution.
• Coordinate promotional setup with ecommerce and marketing calendars.
• Support product setup, tagging and merchandising attributes.
• Identify, upload and organize product imagery; ensure PDPs are complete.
• Daily site QA to identify issues before affecting customers.
• Monitor for broken links, pricing errors and missing content.
• Validate launches and promotions before/after release.
• Partner with development to coordinate site releases; track tickets to resolution.
• Improve communication between ecommerce and development teams.
• Verify discrepancies across Shopify, reporting tools and marketing data.
