Job summary

Remoto Workforce is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting for multiple U.S.-based clients, with remote work options in Mexico.

The role requires 2–3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping, experience with bank reconciliations, QuickBooks, Excel, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Company equipment provided; full-time remote position.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• Experience with transaction categorization and bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Experience managing multiple clients or entities simultaneously.
• Understanding of debits/credits, assets, liabilities, revenue and expenses.
• Experience with QuickBooks or another professional accounting platform.
• Strong Excel and general computer skills.
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy.
• Professional communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize daily financial transactions for multiple client entities.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Research and resolve unidentified or miscategorized transactions.
• Maintain vendor and general ledger records.
• Prepare client books through Trial Balance for tax preparation.
• Assist with sales tax reporting and filings; use Accounting CS.
• Support invoicing, payments, and other accounting admin tasks.
• Mentor junior team members and interns.
