Job summary

Freedom Finance LLC is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to support multiple client accounts in a fully remote setup outside the U.S. You will ensure financial data is clean and up to date so the Controller can guide clients confidently.

This role requires critical thinking, accuracy, and proactive issue spotting across several entities. The position emphasizes strong accounts payable experience, QuickBooks Online expertise, and excellent English communication while collaborating with Controllers on

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience across multiple clients or entities.
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (required).
• Strong accounts payable experience is required.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts at once without things slipping.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Reliable, high-speed internet and consistent video availability during work hours.
• Proactive mindset. You don’t wait to be told something is wrong.
• Organized and process-driven.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, remote environment.
• Able to take ownership of your work without constant oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day and weekly accounts payable activities across multiple client accounts.
• Manage invoice intake, coding, approval workflows and payment preparation.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure bills are entered and paid according to established schedules.
• Follow strong AP controls and best practices, including proper documentation, approval requirements and segregation of duties.
• Monitor outstanding bills, upcoming payment obligations and aging to help ensure payments are made accurately and on time.
• Identify duplicate invoices, unusual charges, missing approvals and other potential AP issues before payments are processed.
• Communicate with Controllers, client contacts and vendors as needed to resolve AP questions and discrepancies.
• Help establish, document and improve AP processes and workflows for clients when needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books across multiple client accounts.
• Categorize transactions, reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows.
• Assist with monthly close processes.
• Ensure financial data is clean and audit-ready.
