Outsourced is a Philippine-based, healthcare-legal technology company seeking a Medical Record Retrieval Specialist 1 to join our remote team. You will retrieve medical and billing records for U.S.-based facilities using our internal platform, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

This full-time, home-based role requires 1+ year of experience, strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to manage high volumes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in medical record retrieval, medical billing, healthcare operations, or legal support preferred
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Exceptional communication and follow-up skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-starter comfortable working remotely and independently.
• Comfortable using web-based platforms and dialing tools.
• Ability to manage a high volume of record requests simultaneously.

Responsabilités

• Submit record requests via email and fax using LlamaLab’s retrieval platform.
• Locate and confirm accurate contact information (fax numbers, email addresses, phone numbers) for healthcare providers and facilities.
• Call facilities to confirm receipt of requests, follow up on pending items, and resolve any delays or issues.
• Review incoming records to verify that they match what was requested (e.g., correct patient, date range, document type). Flag any deficiencies or incomplete submissions.
• Accurately log all outreach efforts, communications, and outcomes within the LlamaLab platform.
• Collaborate with the legal, clinical, and operations teams as needed to clarify requirements or escape complex cases.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in record retrieval workflows, including better contact sourcing and communication strategies.
