Job summary

Two Connect is seeking a Mechanical Draftsperson for fabrication and manufacturing, working from home. You will produce accurate DXF, DWG, and STEP files for plate and tube laser applications, aligning tube models to a primary axis and ensuring machine-ready outputs for workshop production.

The ideal candidate has tertiary qualification in Drafting or related field and 3–5+ years of drafting experience, with proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD 3D, or similar.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of drafting, technical drawing, or manufacturing documentation experience.
• Proficient in producing DXF, DWG, and STEP files for production environments.
• Experience supporting fabrication or metalworking environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and machine-ready files for fabrication and workshop production.
• Generate DXF/DWG files for plate laser cutting requirements.
• Generate STEP files for tube laser cutting aligned to machine axes (X, Y, or Z).
• Ensure STEP files for tube laser work are component-based, not assemblies.
• Interpret technical specifications and production requirements to deliver accurate outputs.
• Update drawings based on feedback from workshop and stakeholders.
• Maintain organized drawing files, revisions, and documentation.
