Job summary

LAdmins is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to turn engineering concepts into accurate drawings for production. You will work with SolidWorks 2026 daily, focusing on sheet metal design and detailed 2D drawings and 3D models.

The role is remote from the Philippines with collaboration with a US-based engineering team. A diploma or degree in mechanical drafting and strong English communication, attention to detail, and a self-starter mindset are required.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proven experience with SolidWorks 2026 (or a recent version), with strong core drafting skills.
Experience with sheet metal design is preferred.
Solid understanding of the metric system and ability to check drawings are dimensioned correctly.

Responsibilities

CAD Drafting & Design: Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks 2026 for new components, assemblies, and product revisions.
Sheet Metal Design: Design and detail sheet metal parts and assemblies, applying bend allowances, flat pattern development, and material thickness considerations.
Drawing Standards & Documentation: Produce clean, fully dimensioned drawing packages with correct tolerances, notes, and metric units, following the company's drafting standards.
Metric Compliance & Quality Checks: Review drawings for accuracy, ensuring all dimensions and callouts are in metric.
