Job summary

PROX SG PTE LTD in Manila seeks a Mechanical CAD Drafter with hands-on CNC machining knowledge to convert existing 3D sketches into production-ready STEP/IGES files and 2D PDF drawings for JLCPCB CNC prototyping. You will apply precise mechanical fits and tolerances for aluminum CNC machining, verify mating and clearances across all parts, and deliver complete 2D drawings with GD&T annotations.

Strong expertise in SolidWorks, Fusion 360 and Inventor, plus DesignSpark Mechanical, and a practical

Qualifications

• Experience converting 3D sketches to production-ready STEP/IGES files.
• Create 2D PDFs with GD&T annotations.
• Verify mating and clearances in assemblies.

Mechanical CAD Drafter for CNC Machining (DesignSpark Mechanical to STEP/2D)

We need an experienced Mechanical CAD Drafter with hands-on CNC machining knowledge to convert existing 3D sketches (~8 parts + 1 assembly in DesignSpark Mechanical) into production-ready STEP/IGES files and 2D PDF drawings for JLCPCB CNC prototyping.

Do NOT apply if you lack practical experience in CNC manufacturing, fits, and GD&T. This is a fixed-scope drafting task, not conceptual R&D.

Key responsibilities:

• Convert 8 components + 1 assembly from DesignSpark Mechanical to STEP/IGES & 2D PDFs.
• Apply precise mechanical fits/tolerances for aluminum CNC machining.
• Verify proper mating and clearances across all 8 parts in the assembly.
• Deliver complete 2D drawings with full GD&T annotations.

About you:

Strong expertise in Mechanical CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, etc.).

Must have practical experience with CNC machining constraints and tolerances.

High attention to detail — exact translation of geometry without altering design intent.
