Job summary

Expedock, a tech-enabled workforce platform, seeks an experienced LTL Operator to support a US-based client’s refrigerated distribution program. You will plan shipments, consolidate pallets, assign carriers, manage delivery appointments, and communicate with customers to ensure on-time arrival.

This hands-on role requires strong logistics experience, excellent written English, and the ability to balance multiple scheduling constraints in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics operations.
• Excellent written English communication (C1 level) with US-based enterprise customers.
• Experience managing high email volumes with timely follow-through.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with load planning, shipment scheduling, or coordinating transportation.
• Willingness to work a night shift aligned with US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Tender management and load planning for daily transportation plans.
• Consolidate pallets to maximize truck capacity (target 28 pallets per truck).
• Assign loads based on carrier schedules, pickups, transit times, and delivery needs.
• Manage delivery appointments and RAD adherence; reschedule as needed.
• Communicate shipment risks and updates to customers via email; escalate when necessary.
• Coordinate with US-based account reps and capacity lead to resolve issues.
