Job summary

GrowthAssistant is seeking a Long-Form Product Video Editor (YouTube) to own the YouTube content engine for a fast-growing B2B SaaS and AI company. You will edit product launches, feature deep-dives, tutorials, and walkthroughs where narration matches what is on screen.

You will source screen recordings, build UI callouts and frame layouts, write and QA subtitles, and ensure brand consistency across videos. Remote work with collaboration across US time zones is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on video editing experience with a strong portfolio including long-form YouTube, product, tutorial, or launch videos.
• Strong design fundamentals—layout, typography, hierarchy, and frame-level judgment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, and After Effects.
• Ability to source new screen recordings and build engaging UI callouts and graphics.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate asynchronously and during US time overlap.

Responsibilities

• Long-Form Video Editing: Edit at least one primary long-form YouTube video per week with strong narrative flow and visual appeal.
• Product UI Matching & Screen Recording: Source and capture your own screen recordings to match narration.
• On-Screen Design & Visual Support: Build UI callouts, zooms, highlights, and frame layouts.
• Post-Production & Brand Consistency: Add captions, lower thirds, transitions, music, and ensure brand alignment.
• Collaboration & Workflow: Align editing style with briefs, collaborate asynchronously, and maintain organized project files.
