Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Linux systems administration
• Strong experience with RHEL/CentOS and Ubuntu
• Bash scripting for automation and system tasks
• TCP/IP networking fundamentals and OS-level troubleshooting
• Proxmox or KVM virtualization experience
• Juniper vSRX or similar virtual firewall technologies
• Multi-tenant environments and centralized policy management
• Structured incident handling in monitored environments; ITIL awareness preferred
• Strong written communication for technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux systems across distributions such as RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu
• Troubleshoot OS-level performance, resources, and network-related issues
• Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system management
• Support and manage Proxmox and KVM virtualization environments
• Configure and manage virtual firewall technologies (Juniper vSRX)
• Implement centralized firewall policies and segmentation strategies
• Perform basic to intermediate network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, routing)
• Work in a structured, ticket-driven environment with proper documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams and NOC environments for stability
• Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting
