Job summary

Moritz, an AI-native law firm, is hiring a Legal Ops Associate to own case intake and daily administration. You’ll be the first touchpoint for new matters, manage trackers, invoices, and internal workflows, and work with AI daily to streamline processes.

You’ll support end-to-end case flow, coordinate with clients and lawyers, and help with payments and internal reporting in a fully remote, fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in legal operations, administration, case management, or a similar support role.
• Experience working with or at a US law firm or US in-house legal team strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own intake for incoming legal cases and ensure submissions are acknowledged and triaged.
• Manage end-to-end case flow and coordinate between clients and lawyers.
• Maintain case trackers, status updates and handover reports.
• Assist with lawyer payment tracking, internal reports and project progress.
