Job summary

CoverGo Limited, based in the Philippines, is hiring a qualified legal professional to support our no-code insurtech platform. You will be the main legal liaison to the CIO, Head of Security, and engineering teams, translating technical specifications into precise legal language.

You will draft, review, and negotiate DPAs, Security Addenda, and SaaS contracts; monitor data privacy laws; advise on regulatory risks; and help align internal processes with technical and privacy requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a legal degree and be licensed to practice law.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as Legal Practitioner, Legal Assistant, Legal Officer, Paralegal, or similar role.
• Experience with tech, privacy, or security matters; DPAs and SaaS contracts a plus.
• Physically based in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Provide main legal support to the CIO, Head of Security, and tech team.
• Draft, review, and negotiate DPAs, Security Addenda, and other SaaS-related contracts.
• Keep documents compliant with data privacy laws (GDPR/local equivalents) and advise on risks.
• Develop internal processes to meet technical and regulatory requirements.
• Support data breach responses and client due diligence questionnaires.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (SaaS, service, vendor) and advise on risks.
• Collaborate with Legal Counsel, internal teams, external counsel, and clients.
